How do I safely burn my candle?
How to Burn
- Allow wax to fully melt to edges, which takes around 2 hours.
- Trim wick to 1/8 - 3/16” with each lighting. Remove any burnt curled sections of the wick.
- May experience fluctuations of wick intensity during burn.
- Hold lighter to wick for around 5 seconds to ignite flame.
Candle Safety
- Don’t leave candle unattended and leave on heat resistant surface.
- Keep away from flammable materials, pets, and children.
- Avoid burning for more than 4 hours.
- Don’t use candle when only 1/2” of wax remains
What is Coconut soy wax?
Coconut soy wax is a blend of natural waxes derived from coconut oil and soybeans. It offers a clean and sustainable alternative to traditional paraffin wax candles. This blend provides a longer and cleaner burn, emitting less soot and toxins into the air.
How do I keep my wood wick lit?
Cutting the wick to the proper length is crucial for maintaining an optimal burn and prolonging the life of your candle. If the wick is too short, it may struggle to draw up enough wax to fuel the flame, resulting in a weak or extinguished flame. On the other hand, if the wick is too long, it can create a large, flickering flame that burns through the wax too quickly and may cause sooting or uneven melting. By trimming the wick to the recommended length (usually around 1/8 to 1/4 inch), you ensure a steady, clean burn and minimize potential safety hazards.

Purchased items will ship within 1–2 business days, unless otherwise noted. USPS will typically deliver your order within 2–5 business days. You will receive an email notification containing tracking information once your order has shipped.
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Due to the nature of our products, used products cannot be returned or refunded. However, we will replace or refund products damaged during shipment if photographic proof of damage is submitted to hello@floatin.com within 48 hours of arrival. We cannot accept exchanges, returns of refunds on sale items, gift cards, limited edition/collaboration items, or any item that is older than 30 days since date of purchase.
